Arcanterra Update: Weapon Balancing, Gear Upgrades, and Early Game Improvements!

Greetings, adventurers!

We’ve been listening closely to your feedback and are excited to roll out a new Arcanterra live update packed with impactful changes to gameplay, weapon mechanics, and early progression.

⚔️ Weapon Range and Skill Changes

We’ve adjusted the behavior of the Sword and Spear in response to player suggestions:

  • Sword and Spear now allow for longer attack range, giving you more space to maneuver and keep enemies at bay.
  • The attack speed of the Sword has been increased:
    From 0.7 → 0.5 seconds per hit
  • We also updated the special skill chances that are available from rare quality:
    • Sword: 30% → 15%
    • Spear: 30% → 35%
    • Bow: no changes

Additionally, skills granted by Rare-quality Sword and Spear gear have been changed:

  • They now deal AOE damage from the enemy’s position, rather than originating from the hero.

🛡️ Gear Upgrade Boost

Upgrading your equipment now grants double the stat bonuses for ATK, DEF, and HP!
This will make each upgrade feel much more rewarding. Note: overall game balance will be adjusted accordingly in the upcoming update.

🏹 Early Game Rework

We’ve restructured the early progression to improve onboarding and skill mastery:

  • Players now start with the Bow, then receive the Sword, and finally the Spear.

💰 Goldnest Mode Tweaked

Goldnest mode has been streamlined:

  • Now consists of 5 waves in a single arena, ending with one boss fight.
  • This reduces completion time while keeping the challenge intact.

🔮 What’s Next in Arcanterra?

We’re hard at work on version 0.16.0, which will bring:

  • A Season Pass with exclusive rewards
  • A brand-new projectile system, enabling more dynamic and challenging boss battles
  • Additional skills, bosses, and chapters to expand your adventure
